What's iowlircemu ?
-------------------

iowlircemu is an emulator of LIRC which (currently) only supports the
Code Mercenaries GmbH's IO-Warrior24 starterkit. Nothing else. 
Neither LIRC is required, nor it depends on it.
It's distributed under the terms of GPL.

Also it provides an interface to write data to a connected LCD. 
An plugin for xmms is also included in the package.
